This privacy policy applies to the Flashbacks iOS app ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or personally identifiable information.
Flashbacks:
Flashbacks requests access to your photo library to find your Live Photos and to build videos from them. All reading, analysis, and video rendering happens entirely on your device. Your photo library is never modified, and no photo, video, or metadata ever leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share or save a finished video.
The App's Auto-Clean feature uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to detect screenshots, documents, and near-duplicate photos. This analysis runs locally on your device and no results are transmitted anywhere.
All data used by Flashbacks is stored locally on your device:
Flashbacks does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics. Sharing a finished video uses the standard iOS share sheet, and the destination you choose (e.g. Messages, YouTube) is governed by that service's own privacy policy.
Flashbacks is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Flashbacks after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. All data used by Flashbacks is stored locally on your device and is under your direct control.
