This privacy policy applies to the Good Remote iOS app ("App"). The App is a remote control for smart televisions and operates entirely on your local network.

Good Remote:

• Does not collect any personal information
• Does not track your usage or behavior
• Does not use analytics or tracking services
• Does not share any data with third parties
• Does not require an account of any kind

Local Data Storage

All data used by the App is stored locally on your device:

• TV Pairing Keys: The pairing key your TV issues on first connection is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and is only ever sent back to your own TV.
• TV Addresses: Your TVs' names, network addresses, and hardware addresses (used to power the TV on) are stored locally on your device.
• Actions: Any one-tap actions you record are stored locally on your device.

Local Network Use

The App communicates exclusively with televisions on your local Wi-Fi network, directly from your device to the TV. No traffic is routed through our servers or any third party — we operate no servers at all. The App requests iOS local-network permission solely to discover and control your TVs.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
